He was predeceased by: his daughter Olive Armstrong. He is survived by: his children, Herman, Douglas Armstrong (Joan) and Robin Armstrong-Arntz (Stephen); his grandchildren, Jackson Armstrong, Zachary, Emily and Megan Arntz; and his siblings, Thomas (Ruth), Edward (Betty), Kathleen Rudy (Jerry) and Kenneth (Alexandra).
