It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel John McVey of Alden, Michigan, who passed away on February 4, 2026, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Daniel John McVey to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Maxine McVey (Kabel) and William McVey; and his siblings, Teresa McVey and David McVey. He is survived by: his wife Marjorie McVey (Higgins); his children, Dr. Mary (McVey), Buschmann (Joseph) and William McVey (Melissa); his siblings, Joan (McVey), McLaury (Jeff) and James McVey (Pamela); his grandchildren, Emi, J. Peter, Josephine and Charlotte; and his pet Jake. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews; countless lifelong friends.
