Edmund C. Kendall Obituary

We are sad to announce that on March 1, 2024, at the age of 83, Edmund C. Kendall of Algonac, Michigan, born in Detroit, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Cass Kendall and Pearl Kendall (Rygiewicz); and his niece Kimberly Frania. He is survived by : his wife Gloria Jean Ryniak; his children, Steve Kendall (Shelly Seymour), Linda McDonald (Thomas) and Donna Gernand (Daniel); his grandchildren, Amanda McDonald, Tommy McDonald, Chris Demorest, Joey Kendall, Julie Demorest, Eddie Kendall, Katie McDonald and Mallory Gernand; his great grandchild Vincent Piper; and his sisters, Gladys Frania (late Carl) and Claire Machala (Jerry).

He was a generous man who donated to many charities; his favorite was Paws With A Cause.

“I have known Ed Kendall for four decades which began when I was at the Seminary at Orchard Lake, MI. I got to know him and Gloria thru Dick and Gloria Salzano. Through his business at Chalmers & Kendall, Ed personally got me through many difficult times with his not only professional expertise but his kindness to me. And I fondly remember the Annual Polish Sports Hall of Fame dinners and other social gatherings. Rest in Peace, Ed. Fr. Jim Mazurek, Pittsburgh, PA.”
