We are sad to announce that, on January 29, 2026, at the age of 101, Eleanor Bernarda Pilawski of Algonac, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Eleanor leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wygnalski and Anna Wygnalski; and her spouse Thadeusz "Ted" Pilawski. She is survived by: her children, Gary Pilawski (Susan), Judi Martin (Mark), Darcy Elwart (Gordy) and Robert Pilawski. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made the St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
