She was predeceased by: her parents, Samuel Varndell and Mary Varndell; her husband William "Bill" Rees; her parents-in-law, Myrick and Bertha Rees; her siblings, Sid, Ken Varndell and Betty Tashijan; and her son-in-law John Newlin.
She is survived by: her children, Jim Rees (Lori), LeeAnn Newlin, Tina Rackley (Ernie) and William Rees II (Jeannie); and her grandchildren, April Byerly (Dan), Johnny Newlin (Dawn), Jimmy Rees II (Amy Peters), Jayne Thiel (Jay Carrigan), Hannah DeGowske (Kyle), Kassidy Rees (Gerald Hoover), William Rees, Buddy and Duke.
