We announce the death of Laurie Bess Glied of Algonac, Michigan, who passed away on July 31, 2026, at the age of 91. Laurie will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her husband Herb; her daughter Kathy; her grandson Scottie; and her sister Ada. She is survived by: her daughters, Barbara Bischoff, Laurie Bischoff and Jeanette Radcliffe (Tom); her grandchildren, Grayson (Kerry), David (Jamie), Kelly (Zach), Janelle (Dave), Michael (Layli) and Shane (Gina); her siblings, George, Larry and Tish; her pet Kohl; her daughter Lesley; and her pet Holly. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews.
N lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Laurie's memory are invited to make a donation to the Blue Water Area Humane Society, a cause that reflected her lifelong love and compassion for animals.
