It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Otto Paul Loomis Jr. of Algonac, Michigan, who passed away on February 25, 2026, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otto B. Loomis and Doris L. Loomis (Guyette); his sisters, Carol A. Loomis and Doris L. Kolomyjec; and his brothers-in-law, Harry Kolomyjec and Tom Heabeart.
He is survived by: his wife Avis A. Fisher; his children, Joseph Loomis, Carol Marlatt (David), Steven Loomis, David Loomis (Julie) and Mark Loomis; and his sister Sharon Heabeart. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 8 great grandchildren, and 2 great great grandchildren.
