We are sad to announce that on May 21, 2025, at the age of 68, Brent Ellis McCormick (Allegan, Michigan) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Brent departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Brent. Though Brent may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He is survived by: his girlfriend Maria Albright; his sons, Justin McCormick (James) of Sarasota, FL and Jordan McCormick (Brittany) of Allegan, MI; his grandson Liam McCormick (Cody Boysen); his siblings, Tresa Miller (Douglas) of Lakeland, FL and Bruce McCormick of Allegan; his nieces, Amanda Miller (Holly) of Winter Haven, FL and Heather Hsueh (Eric) of Guam; his great-nephew Winston; and his nephew Ryan Searles. He is also survived by many cousins, and two heartbroken dogs.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to your local conservation club, the Holland Kennel Club (for use in providing law enforcement canines), the Allegan Community Foundation for scholarships for criminal justice students, or to Liam's education fund.
