He was predeceased by: his parents, Lee Roy and Nancy Thompson (Covault); his in-laws, Leonard and Emma Keck (Buckland); and his brothers, Raymond and Donald Thompson.
He is survived by: his wife Bette Thompson of Allegan; his daughters, Leslie Kroeze (Jim) of Baroda, MI and Heather Thompson of Traverse City, MI; his grandchildren, Alexander, Caleb, Ellie Kroeze of Baroda, MI, Latoya Taylor of Indianapolis, Abby and Jackson Luyk of Traverse City, MI; and his siblings, Wanda Conley of Allegan, Shirley Arlington (Ben) of Allegan, Carolyn Durst (Dean) of Gowen and Stuart Thompson of Allegan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
