It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irene Ruga of Allegan, Michigan, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, who passed away on April 7, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ignacio M. of Uriarte and Guadalupe (Gomez) of Uriarte; her husband William Joseph Ruga; her daughter Teresa Rose Taylor; her sister Isabel Kong; and her great grandchild Alexander Justus Etheridge.

She is survived by: her children, Barbara A. Ruga, Gary Noble of Mesa, Cynthia, Karl Hermanson of Lapeer and Earl Taylor; her parents-in-law, Mary, Robert Young of Auburn, William and Sally Ruga (Whitney) of Allegan, Michigan; her grandchildren, Brian, Betsey, Erica, Sarah, Justin, Ben, Andy, Amy, Emma and Evan; her great grandchildren, Kelsey, Gabi, Daniel, Bryce, Russel, William, Cole, Nash, Will, Cooper, Ryker, Mia, Jack, Mackenzie, Anna and Joey; and her brothers, Raymond Uriarte of Homosassa and Thomas of Uriarte. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
