He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Carl DeJonge and Joan Billings; his children, George Demaray (Stacy), Debra Sewell (Jonas), Ethan DeJonge (Kate), Katie Wersinger (Casey) and Sydney DeJonge-Bolton (Michael); his grandchildren, Wyatt Demaray, Malachi, Josiah Sewell, William, Pearl, Elora, Aelynn DeJonge, Charlee and Henry Wersinger; his siblings, Cathy Small (Steve), Shirley Dornak (Joe), Linda Barnes (Russ) and Jim DeJonge (Nellie); and his wife Patti.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial gifts be made to Lung Cancer Research at Mayo Clinic or the Mayo Clinic Hope Fund.
