He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl DeWitt and Shirley DeWitt; his brothers, Wayne DeWitt (Florence), Martin DeWitt and Jonathan DeWitt; and his brother-in-law Anthony Carnarvon (Sue).
He is survived by: his spouse Chris; his siblings-in-law, Janet Hendrie (late Joe), Harry Carnarvon (Judy), Laurie Collins (Rick), Mary LaHousse (Robert), Marc Carnarvon (Jane), William Carnarvon, Anne Zagunis (James), Joseph Carnarvon and Paul Carnarvon (Sherrie); his niece Angela Anderson (Todd); and his nephew David DeWitt. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and great great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the Weise Funeral Home (7210 Park Ave, Allen Park, MI 48101). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 31st 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
