Donnie G. Medley Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donnie G. Medley (Allen Park, Michigan), who passed away on April 2, 2026, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Sicero Medley and Cecile Gertrude Medley (Clemmons); his brother Clifford Samuel Medley; and his brother-in-law Herbert Norris. He is survived by: his sister Ruby Mae Medley Norris (Ancel); his wife Donna Kay Nelson; his brothers-in-law, Ancel Norris and Darwin Nelson (Nancy); his daughters, Deanna Kay Medley Calleja (Anthony) and Debra Jean Medley Freitas (Neil); his granddaughters, Medley Ann Calleja Branstator (Brandon), Meadow Avangelista Calleja, Madison Joy Freitas (Warren Mills), McKenna Juliette Freitas and Maya Jean Freitas; and his great grandchildren, James Michael Branstator, Keegan Douglas Calleja-Hall and Walker Hudson Branstator. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, great-granchildren, many cousins, nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, Donnie would be honored by donations to the Allen Park Church of Christ.
