With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Emma Kate Thomas (Allen Park, Michigan), who passed away on June 22, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Roxie Trimble and Ottis Trimble; her husbands, Joseph Bonanno and J. S. Thomas; her sister Doris Flynn; her sister-in-law Palma Bonanno; and her niece Debbie Williamson.
She is survived by: her friends, Sally, Tom and Bill Morris; her sibling-in-law Finis; her aunt Rhonda (Garnett); her great-niece Megan (John); her great-nephew Christopher; her stepsons, Dennis (Betsy) and Doug (Kelly); her grandchildren, Kristen (Derek), Kevin (Sarah), Chelsea (Joel), Kyle, Casey (Justin), Katie (Will) and Kirk (Meggan); her great grandchildren, Zachary, Braden, Kayleigh, Ezra, Logan, Paisleigh, Sullivan, Lucy, Lincoln, Leighton, Jude, Smith, Lennox, Tatum, Selene, Silas and Willow; and also, Taylor, Emma, Makayla (Josh), Kayla and Jazlyn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family (10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 28th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests expressions of sympathy be made to the Gideon Bible Memorial Fund.
