He was predeceased by: his brothers, William Hawver (late Pam) and Dennis Hawver (Barb); and his parents, Marie Hawver and William Hawver. He is survived by: his wife Patricia; his children, Darlene Hawver (Kevin Bilbrey) and Jeremy Hawver (Maria); his siblings, Jan Davies (late Dave), Joyce Johnson (Jim), Maureen Bright (late Mark), Barry Hawver (Laurie) and Terry Hawver; and his grandchildren, Gabriela, Nathaniel, Audrina, Noelle, Mabel Hawver, Milo and Samuel Bilbrey.
Visitation will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Weise Funeral Home (7210 Park Ave, Allen Park, MI 48101). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, May 19th 2026 at 11:30 AM and from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the St. Frances Cabrini Church (9000 Laurence Ave, Allen Park, MI 48101).
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital (https://www.stjude.org) in his memory.
