She was predeceased by : her husband Walter; her children, Donald "Stoney" Powers (Carol) and Karen Shifflett; her mother Nola; and her siblings, Freddie, Bud, George, Franklin Leo, Carl Eugene and Mary.

She is survived by : her daughter Anita (late Jerry Lee Jackson); her grandchildren, Charles, Melina, Dylan, Nikki and Anjellica; and her brother Floyd.

Visitation was held on Sunday, April 14th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Voran Funeral Home - Allen Park Chapel (5900 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
