He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis McParland and Margaret McParland; and his siblings, Francis, John "Jack" McParland (Eleanore) and Kathleen Maurer (Alfonse).
He is survived by: his spouse Pat McParland; his daughters, Sherry McParland, Linda Tyitye (Bryan) and Kathy Costanza (David); his brother Gerald McParland (Judy); his grandchildren, Kristine Tyitye, Kathleen Moss (Steven), Kevin Woods (Luowei), Kari Tyitye, Michelle Woods (Scott Thompson) and Kelle Friedley (Jeremy); and his great grandchildren, Landyn and Parker Moss.
