With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Janet Valade of Allen Park, Michigan, born in Wayne, Michigan, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 5, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her son Paul Valade; her grandson Jonathon Valade; her parents, Richard Tapp and Edna Tapp; and her brothers, Robert Tapp (Donna) and Edsel Tapp (Cookie).
She is survived by: her husband Philip Valade; her children, Steven Valade (Jeanne) and Tricia Evans (Bryan); her grandchildren, Zachary Valade (Michelle), Austin Nichols (Brooke), Katie Durocher (Tim), Emily Evans and Benjamin Evans; her great grandchildren, Lily, Lilah Nichols and Jonathon Valade; and her sister Marian Johnson (late Keith).
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 9th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family (10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). Viewing was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
