He was predeceased by: his parents, Adam Szajner and Elizabeth Szajner; his wife Emily Szajner; and his siblings, Tom, Don and Dolly.
He is survived by: his children, Debbie Ganzak (Tom), David Szajner (Elizabeth), Scott Szajner and Kristi Downham (Justin); and his grandchildren, Karsten, Colin, Jacob, Julia, Jordan and Kourtney.
A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, June 1st 2026 at 10:00 AM at the St. Frances Cabrini Parish (9000 Laurence Ave, Allen Park, MI 48101-1598).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Catholic Youth Organization.
