He was predeceased by: his son Stephen Oberdorf (Cathey); and his parents, Chester Oberdorf and Erma Oberdorf (Seamen). He is survived by: his wife Ruth Oberdorf (Tosh); his children, Christopher Oberdorf (Suzanne), Leslie Benny (Theodore) and Cheryl Hamilton (James); his grandchildren, Matthew, Meghan, Christopher, Ryan, Josh, Kaytia, Eli and Logan; his great grandchildren, Skylar, Noah, Langston, Lincoln and Frankie; and his sister Carol Strong (Denny). He is also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family (10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Saturday, November 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
