He was predeceased by: his parents, Willard Buckner and Mary Buckner; and his brother Jerry Buckner. He is survived by: his son Riley Buckner; his daughter-in-law Emily; his grandsons, Logan Buckner and Charles Buckner; his fiancée Yolanda McConville; his sister Barbara; his brother-in-law Donny; his brother Bryan; and his sibling-in-law Casey.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 17th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Allen Park Chapel - Martenson Family (10915 Allen Rd, Allen Park, MI 48101). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
