He was loved and cherished by many people including : his wife Linda McDiarmid; his children, Scott McDiarmid (Andra), Phillip McDiarmid (Monica), Charlie McDiarmid (Cori) and Ryan Williams (Jennifer); and his grandchildren, Rachael Gordillo (Shelby) of Jeremy Burks, CJ, Jordan McDiarmid, Noah McDiarmid and Max McDiarmid.
