With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Susan M. Seychel of Allen Park, Michigan, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Susan left this world on September 30, 2025 at the age of 72, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Charles A. Seychel; her children, Linda Petty (Seth), Scott Howard (Wendy), Charles P. Seychel and Matthew Seychel; her grandchildren, Scott Howard (Destiny), Hannah Petty, Jacob Howard, Emily Petty and Sarah DeCamillo; her siblings, Maureen Emerick (late Robert), Michael McElmeel (late Patricia), Patrick McElmeel (late Joan), John McElmeel (Shawn), Mary Ann Lavoie (late David), Margaret McElmeel, Theresa Murphy (late Michael), William McElmeel (Pamela) and Rose Marie Holliday (Michael); and her sister-in-law Patricia McElmeel (late Edward). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the R. C. Aleks & Son Funeral Home, Inc. (1324 Southfield Rd, Lincoln Park, MI 48146). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 3rd 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Christ the Good Shepard Catholic Church (1540 Riverbank St, Lincoln Park, MI 48146).
