She was loved and cherished by many people including : her husband John; her children, Lalena Hale (Patrick Rowan) and Sonja Regish (Josh Richardson); her siblings, Veronica Gibson, Richard Apkarian and David Apkarian (Shannon); and her grandchildren, Brandon, Ryan, Sloane and Violet.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Relay for Life (Link (https://secure.acsevents.org)), the Girls Scouts of Southeastern Michigan (LINK).
