She was predeceased by: her parents, John Aldrink and Anna Aldrink (Meyer); her husband Peter Brunger; and her siblings, John (Kathryn Visser), Jacob (Janice Van Haitsma), Harry "Bob" (Beatrice Kok), Beatrice (William Idema), Irene (Chester Lautenbach), Esther Joyce (Philip Versluis) and Calvin (Diana Randall).

She is survived by: her children, Mark (Patty) of Richardson and Lynn Adele (Scott Voorman) of Simi Valley, California; and her grandchildren, John Brunger (Pamela), Philip Brunger (Melissa), Matt Voorman (Anna) and Amy Broughton (Adam). She is also survived by ten great grand-children; and by many nephews and nieces.
