He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Goodwin and Emma Goodwin (Thompson); and his siblings, Edward, Anne, Florence, Raymond, Dorothy, Eleanor, Helen, Robert and George.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Sabina; his children, Elizabeth Erwin, Phillip (Maria), Donald, Stephen and Michael; and his grandchildren, Donald Jr., Danielle, Kimberly McIntrye (Jonty), Emma and Jackson. He is also survived by two great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
