He was predeceased by: his sister Lynn Leitner; his niece Candace; and also Aria. He is survived by: his wife Verna Leitner; his children, Melissa, Mike Veldkamp, Derek, Ana Leitner, Ashley and Drew VanRhee; his grandchildren, Connor, Skylar, Kinsley, Adri, Maddie, Kelsey, Ally and Mila; his parents, Ken Leitner and Ginny Leitner; his siblings, Lori (Rick Tischendorf), Connie (Rick Eckes), Jeff (Robyn Leitner), Carla (Keith Wojahn) and Dan (Linda Leitner); his former wife Kris Leitner; and his great-niece Alia. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and great-nephews.
