He was predeceased by: his sisters, Jeanne DeVisser and Nancy Stryd. He is survived by: his wife Pat; his children, Leah Remijn (Bill), Kevin DeVisser (Sue) and Trent DeVisser (Virginia); his grandchildren, Andrew Remijn, Lauren Remijn, Daniel Remijn, Rebekah Remijn, Melanie Wubbeling (Andy), Tyler DeVisser, Felicia DeVisser and Kylie DeVisser; his great grandchildren, Kinsley and Rhett; his siblings, Arnie DeVisser (Alyson), Bev Staal (Bill), Connie Phillips (Dan), Kathy Knollenberg (Wes) and Ruth Anson (Dave); and his in-laws, Tom Stryd, Jim VanDenTop (Herm), Jay VanDenTop (Joy), Milt VanDenTop (Deanne) and Karen VanZweden (Bob). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 7th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Heritage Life Story Funeral Homes (2120 Lake Michigan Dr NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 8th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Netherlands Reformed Church (1255 Covell Ave NW, Grand Rapids, MI 49504).
