It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jane Loonsfoot of Allendale, Michigan, born in Negaunee, Michigan, who passed away on January 4, 2026, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her former husband Ernest Loonsfoot; her husband Virgil Loonsfoot; her children, Dawn Loonsfoot, Kathryn Curl and Ron Murray; and her son-in-law Larry Petznik.
She is survived by: her children, Jean Wierenga (Russ), Robert Loonsfoot, Allen Loonsfoot (Rayetta), Rosanne Petznik, Vicki Frank, Wayne Loonsfoot (Florence), Karen Selby, Cynthia Curtis (Jerry), Michael Loonsfoot (Rhonda), Christine Loonsfoot and Timothy Loonsfoot (Kelli); her daughter-in-law Julie Murray; her sister-in-law Diane Decota; and her son-in-law Ken Curl. She is also survived by 54 grandchildren; over 100 great-grandchildren.
