He is survived by: his wife Sheryl; his stepchildren, Bruce Kamstra and Mary Squires; his stepgrandchildren, McKaylyn and Tylee; his siblings, Hazel Hielkema (Rog), Gladys Hielkema (Ken), Jarvis Haverdink (Alyce), Joan Quist (Bruce) and Rose Poortvliet (Don); his mother-in-law Mary Folkringa; and his siblings-in-law, Carolyn Haverdink, Greg Folkringa, Peter Folkringa (Kim) and Judy Shultz (Jim). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
