He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Dufrene and Sophie Dufrene (Belisle); his wife Naureen Marie Coburn; his brother Kingsley Dufrene (King); and his daughter-in-law Debbie Dufrene.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Nadalin of Ingersoll, Mike Dufrene of Alma, Michigan, Mary Beth Zalokar (Joe) of Delton, Michigan, Christine Sweezie (Bob) of Montague, Michigan and Sheila Sova (Matt) of Howell; his sister Helen Siebert (Babe) of Sarnia, Ontario; his close friend Connie Fawcett of Collingwood, Ontario; and his sisters-in-law, Pauline Adley and Ann Zavitz (Sherman). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
