It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold E. House (Alma, Michigan), who passed away on August 28, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Harold E. House to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George and Caroline; his wife Carolyn (Brock); his daughter Carla Gustavison; and his brothers, Kent and James House.
He is survived by: his significant other Sharol "Sam" Pominville; his daughter Christine Collom (Patrick); his grandchildren, Andrew Schultz (Kayla), Sean Collom, Megan Gorney (Josh), Dalelyn Gustavison (Kyle) and Tim Gustavison (Andrea); his great grandchildren, Emmitt, Maeve and Bodey; his son-in-law Tim Gustavison; and his sister Deana Korpon. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Pardee Cancer Center or the Gratiot Community Foundation, as the family will be working with the Foundation to start a scholarship fund in memory of Harold. Checks should be made out to the Gratiot County Community Foundation and state in the memo line: Harold House.
