He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Robert Ira and Dora Comstock (Dean); his wife Dolores Roslund; his children, Drew (ToniLee Rudnicki), Robert (Paula Rockafellow), Jane (Flor Acosta) and Diane (Rich Davidson); his grandchildren, DeeAnn Delong (Irvin), Jonathan Comstock (Emma Danager), Beth Campbell (Ronald), Luke Comstock (Heather Alexander), Andrew Comstock, Cassidy (DeVoy), Flor Acosta III, Francisca Shell (Sam), Lynn (Davidson), Ryan Cramer, Davinia (Comstock) and Daniel Sturdevant; and his great grandchildren, Dane, Della DeLong, Ronald Jr., Rachel Campbell, Jordan Campbell, Jessica Delo, Jonathon, Grace, Hannah, Robert Comstock, Rebecca, Benjamin, Zachariah, Rachel Comstock, Katelyn, Lily (Cramer) and Fabienne Shell.
