She is survived by: her former husband Douglas Kuran; her children, Douglas Kuran (Anne) of Alma, Brian Kuran (Terri) of Vestaburg, Duane Kuran of Alma, Sarah McRoberts Montes (Edgar) of Orange County, CA, Julie Tucker (Andy) and Susie McRoberts; her siblings, Felicia Jaskowski (Joe), Charmaine Jordan, Dennis Dolney (Pam) and John Dolney (Isolde); her grandchildren, Katherine Kuran, Rachel Lederer (Randy), Anjelita Garza (Tyler), Erik Aittama, Zack Kuran, Adam Kuran, Luke Kuran, Elijah Montes and Starlynn Montes; and her great grandchildren, Isabel Kuran, Zane Lederer and Anya Lederer. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made, in Joan's name, to St. Paul's Church in Ithaca.
