It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Mae Carpenter of Alma, Michigan, who passed away on July 24, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Adolphas Alvin and Lucile Mae Peet (Prevost); her sons, Bob Peet and David Evitts; her granddaughter Heather Wilbur; and her brothers, Richard Peet (Marie), Roger Peet and Adolphas Peet, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Darlene Kraus (Mark) of Ithaca, MI, Dan Evitts (Julie) of Ithaca, MI, Doug Kimmel of Ithaca, MI and Christina Valleau of Knoxville, TN; her daughter-in-law Ronda Peet; her grandchildren, Brittany, Emily, Matt, Olivia, Sara, Jameson and John; her sister Joan Abell; and her sister-in-law Sharon Peet. She is also survived by several great- grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Dalis to the Rescue or to the American Kidney Foundation.
