He was predeceased by: his parents, Burdell Davis Kaufman and Russell Newman Kaufman; and his brothers, Ralph, Alton and William Kaufman (Bill).
He is survived by: his wife Rosemary; his sister Ruth Ann Wolven; his children, Kathleen Kaufman (Rich Jaskowski) and Kenneth Kaufman (Cindy); his grandchildren, Hilare Kaufman (Sara Bur), Nathan, Dylan Jaskowski (Makayla Lopez), Clay, Drew and Ella Jaskowski; and his great grandchild Cecilia Jaskowski. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Doig Memorial Chapel at the Michigan Masonic Home, Alma (1200 Wright Ave, Alma, MI 48801). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
