He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Buchler and Grace Buchler (Hale); his wife Bonnie; his daughter Dena Buchler; his grandson-in-law Christopher Onstott; and his siblings, Richard, Dorothy, Carol, Alice, Virginia, Verneda and Onalee.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Salinas (Eric), Elaine Morgan (Steven) and Robert Buchler (Jacqueline); his grandchildren, Ryan Melow (Stacy), Andrea Onstott, Jessica Hines, Dylan Hines and Coty Buchler; and his great grandchildren, Allison Onstott, Bryce Melow, Adalynn Melow and Chase Badgley.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Alma Community Baptist Church or Masonic Pathways in memory of Robert Buchler.
