He was predeceased by: his parents, George Priest and Mercy Priest (Raymond); and his siblings, John R. Priest, Mary Jane Baldwin and Ruth Moore.

He is survived by: his daughters, Pam Amatyakul (Phanu) of Brighton, Judy Priest (Renee Parks) of Grand Rapids, Annette Beyersdorf (Ric Lyzen) of Mason and Susan Priest of Alma; his grandchildren, Matthew Beyersdorf (Lucy), Paul Amatyakul, Janet Hufnagel (Tommy) and Kate Beyersdorf; and his great grandchildren, Elliot and Winifred Beyersdorf. He is also survived by his wife and his entire family.
