He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Blasdell and Marjorie Blasdell Sr.; and his siblings, Robert Blasdell Jr., Pamela Wheeler and Sharon Clark.
He is survived by: his wife Deborah Atwell-Blasdell; his children, Gil Blasdell Jr. (Haley) and Joanna Blasdell; his stepchildren, Nathan Atwell (Stacy) and Hannah Swan (Nick); his grandchildren, Cody, Samantha, Henry, Ruby, Drake and Reid; his brothers, Bill Blasdell, Steve Blasdell and Marvin Blasdell; and his friends, Loretta and Craig Kirbitz.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be considered to the Wounded Warriors Project or the Karmanos Cancer Research Foundation.
