It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Lyle Barden of Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on May 6, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lyle Barden and Marjorie Barden (Fahselt); and his granddaughter Abigail. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Jaskolski; his children, Nathan Barden (Kristin) and Lynsey Barden (David Prieur); his sister Elaine Meddaugh (Jim); his grandchildren, Grady, Gavin and Lillie; and his close friend Charlie Lake. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the McWilliams Funeral Home (504 W Washington Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A prayer was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
