He was predeceased by: his brother Floyd Schiller, Jr.. He is survived by: his parents, Floyd Schiller and Evelyn Schiller (Szatkowski); his wife Paula Houston; his daughters, Chelsie Barilik (Terry) and Bailey Schiller; and his stepchildren, Brandon Vlcek, Sarah Vlcek, Ryan Rudnick, Bryan Rudnick and Corey Rudnick. He is also survived by 9 grandchildren, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A memorial service was held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
