We announce the death of Daniel John Szymanski of Alpena, Michigan, who passed away on June 25, 2026, at the age of 93. Daniel will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Felix Szymanski and Martha Szymanski (Kieliszewski); and his brothers, Chet, Jim and Dick.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Lucille Frantz; his children, B. Paul Szymanski (Robin), D. Jan Szyren of Alpena and Kenneth Szymanski (Brenda) of Interlaken, NY; his grandchildren, Kelsey Szymanski, Hailey Hirsch (Ben), Lesley Szymanski, Jacob Szymanski and Joshua Szymanski (Bailey); and his sister Doris Stafford of Alpena. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
