He was predeceased by: his granddaughter Heather; and his siblings, William Gapske, Donald Gapske and Geraldine Gathier. He is survived by: his spouse Eliza Jean Lockwood; his children, Karen Palkovich, Dennis Palkovich, Greg Gapske, David Jr, Vanessa Gapske, Jr., Shawn Gapske, Moura Gapske, Sara Cleland, Dale Cleland, Garth Gapske and Lisa Gapske; and his sisters-in-law, Darlene Gapske and Virginia Gapske.
