He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd "Doc" Veasy and Lois Veasy (Blood). He is survived by: his wife Tammy Marsh; his children, Shay Lyn Kandis, Ben Veasy and David Veasy (Amanda); his grandchildren, Riley, Bodhi Kandis, Tyler, Madilyn Veasy, Theo, Fayia and Eli Veasy; his siblings, Doug Veasy (Irma) and Marji Urick (Dan); his mother-in-law Donna Marsh; and his brother-in-law Chris Marsh (Cindy). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews.
Inurnment: Sanborn Township Cemetery, In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Great Lake Lore Maritime Museum in Rogers City.
