He was predeceased by: his parents, Archie Smith and Nellie Smith (Jacobs); his son Greg; his sisters, Elaine Habermehl (Harvey) and Karen McFetridge (David); and his brother-in-law Stuart McFetridge.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Adrian; his son Guy; and his siblings, Patricia McFetridge, Alan Smith (Cathy) and Karol LaPine (Bill). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Immanuel Lutheran Church (351 Wilson St, Alpena, MI 49707). A memorial service will be held on Friday, September 25th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
