He was predeceased by: his parents, George Curtis and Anna Curtis (Johnson); and his siblings, Ruby Thom, Marie Ohren, Leona Waver, Eleanor Schneider, Keith Curtis, Margery Bugbee, Cleo Langseth and Shirley Anderson.
He is survived by: his wife Delores Evenson; his daughters, Lori Sommerfeld (Marty) and Lisa Bierlein (Charles); his grandchildren, Anna Brocco (Chris), Kate Sommerfeld, Curtis Harrison, Grace Harrison and Donald Sommerfeld; and his great grandchildren, Bradley and Lina Brocco. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Lutheran Church (119 W Dunbar St, Alpena, MI 49707). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
