He is survived by: his children, Jeff (Suzanne), Kimberly Kimball (James) of Woodstock, GA, Judy Diethelm (Keith Johnson) of Nashville, TN and Michael Diethelm (Amy) of Alpharetta, GA; his grandchildren, Ryan Diethelm, Cory Kimball (Miranda), Cassandra Kimball White (David), Nicole Gisler (Lukas Hess), Grantly Johnson and Olivia Diethelm; his great grandchildren, Holly, Elena and Hunter; and his former wife Margaret Nickels.
