We are sad to announce that on December 13, 2025, at the age of 88, Josephine Trewartha of Alpena, Michigan passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Josephine departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Josephine may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Josephine leaves behind.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 20th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Trinity Episcopal Church's Sunday Super.
