She is survived by: her children, Sheryl MacGillis, David MacGillis (Carrie) and Steve MacGillis; her granddaughter Kaylie MacGillis; and her siblings, Doris Mousseau, Calvin Barton (Margaret), Phyllis James (Dave) and Daryl Barton. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, dear friends and neighbors.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Bannan Funeral Home (222 S 2nd Ave, Alpena, MI 49707). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
