He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Diamond and Pauline Diamond (Ticho); his wife Betty Diamond (Hill); and his brothers, Jack Diamond, Clair Diamond and Dennis Diamond.
He is survived by: his sons, Philip Diamond (Wanda), Paul Diamond, Steven Diamond (Diane) and John Diamond; his grandchildren, Kelsey Hanson (Casey), Benjamin (Allison), Aaron, Matthew Diamond and Natalie Grace; his great grandchildren, Ezra, Elias Hanson and Charlotte Diamond; his friend Iris Tessmer; and his siblings-in-law, Genie Diamond, Sandi Hempel (Ron) and James Dutcher.
Interment: Evergreen Cemetery, In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hope Lutheran Church, MyMichigan-Alpena Development Fund, or Hospice of Michigan - Alpena.
